About me
I am a volunteer and a graduate of the two year Residency program at First Light Church in Vandalia, Ohio. I have attended FLC for my whole life (34 years), of which 21 of those years my Mother has been on staff as the Pastor’s secretary and currently is the Church Life Coordinator. I have served in the tech side of worship for awhile starting off running slides in Student ministry from when I was in the 7th grade and then moved into running slides, lights, and/or a camera in our Sunday morning Worship gatherings. For the last 5+ years I have been a FOH audio technician and serving on the tech side where ever there is a need. On the personal side I was involved in a life altering car accident in October of 2008 that should have been fatal. While driving home from my fathers hip replacement surgery with my grandpa something broke in the drivers side front tire area going into a curve which caused the car to go left of center head-on into a fully loaded gravel dump truck at 50 MPH. Only by the grace of God we both survived but I spent three months in a medically induced coma and a total of seven months in the hospital. Six months after the accident and after already losing my complete left him and 6 inches of my femur, I had to have my left leg amputated only leaving around 3-6 inches of my leg but is only tissue. Also my left elbow was crushed and after trying to fix it several times the elbow bone fused together so I have limited use of my left arm. While I have an. Introverted personality I try as best as I can to use my life story to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am open to answer any questions any one has for me. While I am single, I am the proud parent to a 6 year old black Labrador, and Uncle to one girl and four boys.
