If you're like me, you probably don't have a lot of spare time to practice and probably struggle with making your practice time worthwhile. In this session, we'll discuss some skills and tips to make the most of your time, including playing some practical exercises together. Our topics will include building interdependence, strengthening the non-dominant hand, and groove and fill development. Whether you are a new or veteran drummer, you will find some useful tools to sharpen your skills.

I'll share some lessons I wish I would have learned earlier in my drumming journey.  We will discuss some of essential aspects of worship drumming, useful resources and gear, tips for learning songs, and some practical exercises to improve your skills.  Please bring sticks and a practice pad (if possible) as we will be drumming together.

Week in and week out, we plan for Sunday. Too often, we can simply be on auto-pilot with this task! How can we be intentional in our planning for the worship gathering? In this breakout session, we will cover things like song planning, transitions, band scheduling, song keys, and how to prepare ourselves to come before God in worship.
